Spot the Dog and a Boyhood Bond in Spencer
In Spencer Iowa Irving England recalls eight year old days with a constant companion Spot a white dog who loved to chase and swim. Spot dies and is buried by the Little Sioux River with simple farewell then a later grave reopening reveals the dog remains in his box prompting a quiet return home.
