Funeral Of Benton H. Weir Held Thursday
Benton H. Weir of Milaca Minnesota died after a paralytic stroke at home. Funeral services were at the M E church with Rev C J Mekkelson officiating and interment in the east Milaca cemetery. He was born July 11 1859 in Missouri and married Lena Long in 1880. He leaves his wife seven children 28 grandchildren and two half sisters.

The Lost Island 4 H girls club met at Miss Ildred Bonstead's home on Wednesday June 23. Members received program booklets covering meetings through January 1, 1927. Sheriff and deputies raid recover liquor and moonshine
