Board approved a $400 claim for Thos Kirby township clerk Nevada and various inquest and bridge contracts. Several road projects listed for approval and a 1897 property assessment schedule adopted including horse cattle hogs and machinery values. Resolutions ordered auditor to notify township trustees to provide relief for the poor under law and to publish required notices. Meeting adjourned to Jan 16.
