Progress on Graettinger High School Gym Expansion
Contractors advance on the Graettinger High School gym, a $27,000 project funded 45 percent by the Public Works Administration. Half of construction is done with an expected March 1 finish, roof near completion, windows in, exterior nearly finished, and inner partitions for showers and dressing rooms in place. The old gym gains three new classrooms as the space is repurposed with a new floor and plastering underway. The finished gym will be a bright, modern facility that can convert to an auditorium with state equipment.

Rep Keeney argues the state should allocate secondary road funds by the share of a county’s secondary roads to the total state mileage. He notes that current bills favor primary roads, hurts Palo Alto and similar counties, and would replace unequal grants with equal per-county amounts while maintaining primary fund usage.
