Zeman Named Bethel Council President Again
Bethel Lutheran Church held its annual congregational meeting on January 19. Ray Zeman was reelected president of the Church Council as new terms for Richard Dalen Richard Herke Danny Naig and Duane Sandberg started three year stints joining incumbents Einer Appel Donald Flint Frank Jacobsen Robert Prather Marty Brennan Joe Green Don Peton and Zeman. A 1976 budget of 43000 was adopted with over 11000 planned for a three year United Mission Appeal to the American Lutheran Church. Bethel membership stands at 464 confirmed and 598 baptized with 134 in Sunday school and an average worship attendance of 217. The council also reorganized with Zeman as president Prather as vice president Flint as secretary Lammers as congregational treasurer and Thoreson as financial secretary.

Graettinger grapplers defeated Schaller 60 to 12 on Wednesday January 14 securing a 6 1 dual record. Schaller forfeited five matches. Graettinger won one before the bout began.
