Palo Alto County Inspects Sheep Scabies Across Townships
Palo Alto County extends a sheep scab inspection program led by Extension Director John Johnson. Vernon Independence West Bend Fairfield Lost Island Highland Walnut Freedom townships are checked by local veterinarians, with District Veterinarian H. E. McCalohan directing statewide efforts. By April 1964 all townships slated for inspection, certificates issued for flocks cleared, and movement rules described, as several counties have already shown no scab.
