The Molly Maguires and their downfall in coal regions

The Molly Maguires formed about 1854 by Irish Americans in Pennsylvania coal districts and led a terror campaign after the Civil War. In 1875 they helped force a regional strike and gained influence in miners councils, targeting judges, police, and bosses.
