Ole Lande Sande died Tuesday evening after a heart attack following a church meeting and home duties. Funeral set for Saturday at his home with Reverend Sande officiating and burial in Lost Island Township cemetery. Born April 14 1840 in Closter Island Norway he married Karen Knudtson in 1863. emigrated to America in 1870, lived in Story and Hamilton counties before moving to Lost Island and later to town east of the Lutheran church. survived by wife, a daughter in Sea Bert Colorado and three sons in Graettinger Terrell and Storden Minnesota, with two children dying young. He was a longtime United Lutheran church member.
