Ice rink drive in sub zero cold favors Graettinger club

Gerald Stueve and Jim Iverson of the Graettinger Lions club worked six hours in frigid weather to flood the old tennis court converted into an ice rink. Using a rural water tank truck they delivered about 10 000 gallons of water to create a smooth skating surface for holiday use. Mrs A B Carter of West Bend visited the Times noting she helped publish the paper a half century ago.
