Dennis Felkey of Gruettinger area, son of Mr and Mrs Ted Knudtson, serves with the 377th Service Squadron at Tan Son Nhut Air Base Vietnam. His unit won the Hose Commander's Trophy for best housekeeping among Saygen installation support units. Felkey previously served at Beale Air Force Base California and is a graduate of Gradunger Community High School.

UNI Professor to Address Emmetburg Conservation Education Committee
Mr Hernan Clausen of the University of Northern Iowa Cedar Falla will visit Emmetburg on Tuesday February 27 to meet the CE Conservation Education Committee. Clausen will assist with ideas for teaching resource conservation and help write a resource conservation workbook. He serves as a conservation education consultant provided by the County Superintendent of Schools.
