Hawarden man survives 28 foot tree fall near LeMars

Lea Andersen of Hawarden plunged 28 feet from a tree last week and walked away unharmed. A power saw he was operating toppled from the tree, and fellow workers pulled him clear as the machine continued to run near LeMars.

Signs Of Our Times Lead Trainer Meeting March 8

Signora McFadgen and June Brown will run a furniture arrangement session at the Fireside Room of Emmetsburg Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is the final Leader Training School in the Family Living Program.
