Graettinger welcomes two new firms in the former hardware building front. Larry Edwards will run an electrical contracting shop and Vivian Winter opens a combination coffee shop and variety store. A tentative March 20 opening for the Variety and Snack and Grand Opening planned if construction proceeds.

Alvin Dalen of Estherville failed to claim the Booster Bucks prize last Saturday. The $50 prize will again be up for grabs on Saturday February 24, 1973 at 3 p.m.
Gary Boecker earned a trip to the State Wrestling tournament by winning first at the district meet with three pins. He owns a 21-0 record with 13 pins and 5 decisions. He won the Terris Invitational on Dec 16, Graettinger Invitational on Jan 6, Milford sectional on Feb 7-8, and Manson district on Feb 16-17. State action starts Friday Feb 23 at 11 a.m. He is Graettinger’s first state qualifier since wrestling’s revival three years ago.
