High School Concert Band to Perform Friday Evening
The Graecttinger high school Pirate Concert Band, a 51 piece ensemble directed by Warren Erickson, will perform at the high school gym Friday at 7 30. The program features The Unsinkable Molly Brown Cumberland Gap Blue Tango Invarcargill Marriage of Figaro Bassa Nova On the Trail Dixieland Jamboree and more with local soloists. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Bertha Emma Flan drey Baedke 72 a Terril area resident since 1919 died Monday at Holy Family Hospital from complications of old age. Born in Poland February 23 she came to the United States as a young girl, married Henry Carl Baedke in Cushman Oklahoma in 1919, and farmed in Terril and Grachtinger areas until his death in 1958. She is survived by son Henry Jr. of near Terril and a sister Mrs Julius Marthas Weil of Cushman. Funeral Friday at 2 pm Immanuel Lutheran Terril with Rev Alonzo Belveal officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery near Terril.

Four Townships Sign Up Daily For 1943 Toat Drain Program

Grover Yaberg Dies In California
Grover S Yaberg 69 former Granttinger resident died Thursday February 7 at 715 pm at his Glendale California home. Funeral services were held Monday at the Peace Chapel Wieler and Everick Mortuary with Rev V Kulener officiating. Interment was in Grant View. He was born in West Bend Iowa and later resided here. A World War I veteran he moved to Glendale in 1925 and joined the Glendale fire department in 1926. He retired after years of service. Survived by wife Mary Ginosons Forrest of Buena Park California. son Richard of Saint Ann California. two daughters Gloria Tsutwar of Cowtes California Pauline Gore von of Glendale eight grandchildren and others.
