Social Security Contact Schedule Announced for Several Cities

The social security district office at Fort Dodge Emmetsburg courthouse released a contact schedule. In Estherville the hours are 10 34 to 12 30 on February 4 and 11 March 4 and 13. In Spencer at the Senior Citizens Center 3 30 to 12 30 on February 5 and 19 March 3 and 19.

Drivers License Exams Schedule in Five Towns

Drivers license exams are offered on Mondays at Esmherville and Orange City, Tuesdays at Emmetsburg, Wednesdays at Spencer, Thursdays at Rock Rapids, and Fridays at Spirit Lake. Saturdays provide morning exams in Sibley and Swea City.

From the Times of Feb 15 1945 Graettinger Junior High defeated St Marys Junior High for the second time this year by a close score 18 to 12. Tate led with 9 points Garner Baumgartner Gilbaugh Young and Myers contributed and other players included Anderson Holland Appel Prater. Also notes Osco married February 12 with Rev Bohne officiating and St Marys seconds beat Graettinger 31 to 15. Kenneth Henningsen now at Ft Benjamin Harrison after 34 months in the South Pacific.
