The nine year old son of Wm Michaels of this city is in serious condition from injury and exposure. His fingers toes and a calf are badly frozen, with possible amputation. Doctors Coleman and Nana are caring for him as he recovers from the cold and injuries.

Jorgen Anderson Honored At Grain Dealers Convention Sioux City

Jorgen Andersen of the locality was selected representative of his district in a grain dealers convention held in Sioux City. The district includes seven counties and the honor is unlikely to recur in Palo Alto county for years. Andersen is active in farming and serves as secretary of local creamery and grain companies as well as a shipping firm. The Times congratulates him on the honor. Sacred Concert Well Attended By M. E. Choir At Church

Members of the M. E. church choir presented a sacred concert Sunday evening at the church. The program was declared first class by large audiences and included opening voluntary, congregational singing, piano duets, bass solos, soprano and alto duets, tenor and soprano duet, morning choir reading, a short address, and offertory.
