Graettinger mourns the death of J P Conway who died Saturday at 4 50 p m after a long illness from a stomach obstruction. He was born July 15 1861 in Canada and lived on farms near Osgood before retirement to a residence at Grant ar. Survived by seven children, extensive family notes and Mary Emm..., funeral held Tuesday with Father Kelly officiating at St Johns cemetery.

Mercer, an Oklahoma City traveling salesman, nearly froze to death near Crippens Corner on No 17 as a severe blizzard struck. Sub-County Declamatory Contest Held at Graettinger High

The sub-county declamatory contest takes place Monday night at Graettinger High School. It begins at eight. Funeral Of Mrs. Iverson Held Sunday

The community mourns Mrs. Lewis Iverson who died January 27 1982 after paralysis. She and Lewis Iverson lived in Graettinger since 1924 raising four children and earning wide regard. Funeral services were conducted at the home and First Lutheran Church with Rev. Hansen and Rev. Mandinger assisting. burial followed in the Lutheran cemetery east of Graettinger.
