Halting Cancer Campaign Aims to Reach Iowa Women
A state wide drive will search for 400000 Iowa women over 40 next year to educate on breast cancer signs. The program, led by the Division of Cancer Control and Iowa Medical Society, includes a color film and short reels. Key figures include Dr. Edmund G. Zimmerer and state health officials. For many lumps not cancer there is still value in medical checks.
