Fire Alarm And A Scare Last Evening
A town scare occurred around 6 30 pm when the fire siren sounded after a fire at Gractinger in stretched rag waste ignited by heat from a stack fire. The municipal light plant cut power for about 400 minutes as smoke and heat filled the basement.
