Dinner on the Studio Lot Sparks War Talk
Elizabeth Herlong and her husband Spratt, a Vertex Studio producer, share a lunch break that veers from studio woes to war relief. They discuss a German writer, a Greek War Relief party, and the strain of film work, while quietly considering their son Dick’s upcoming entry into the draft and the cost of public virtue during wartime.
