The Vernon Climbers met Monday November 26 at Royanna and Karen Donovan home with eleven members and two leaders present. They answered roll call by sharing Christmas wishes and welcomed new member Mary Martin. New officers were installed and Royanna, Karen, and their mother served a pleasant luncheon.

Mrs. Eldon Krueger of Cresco received a series of anti rabies injections after a skunk bit her ankle as she stepped from her home. The family dog killed the skunk, which was found rabid.
