Death of Henry Lammers Remembers Longtime Resident
Henry Lammers died last Wednesday at his son’s home near Gradlinger after two pneumonia bouts. Born December 4, 1865 in Germany, he immigrated at 20, lived near White Lake then Graettinger, and left a family of nine with eight surviving. Funeral services were held Saturday at his home and M. E. church, with interment in the Lutheran cemetery. pallbearers named.

Mr and Mrs Carl Hansen of Gruettinger southwest mourn the loss of daughter Maryline Ann ages two and a half after a diabetes and flu illness. She died November 23 at Emmetsburg hospital. funeral Saturday at Danish Lutheran church South Walnut with Rev James P Christensen. Interment parochial cemetery. She was born May 8, 1890 and is survived by parents three brothers Raymond Everett Maynard and sisters Elsie Doris.

Carl Hansen Dies After Stroke at 80
Carl Hansen 80, longtime resident and prominent community member, died Wednesday morning at his home after a severe stroke. He had a history of ill health and recent falls, worked for the old B. G. R. & N. railway, later ran a stone masonry business with Larsen, and owned a farm north of Graettinger before investing in town property. Funeral services are planned for Saturday at one o clock at his house and at Two o'clock at First Lutheran Church.
