A Fairmont attorney ends a 25 year mystery by locating Emma Ewigleben Teughan Teachau, daughter of Henry Ewigleben, once missing after desertion. The reunions link Pax Lake area kin with Chris Teachau of Stanwood Iowa and reveal a double life ending in a tense but emotional family reconciliation.
James 5. Cox reports his touring car stolen near Apriic Lake Saturday night while he and family stayed at Orleans pavilion. Two youths, ages sixteen and eighteen, were caught near Jackson after confessing. Miller and Olson named as culprits, with reform school likely. Damages include two grips and personal items.
John Tutler administrator of the Jones Butler estate filed a $25000 against the railroad after an auto crash at a Duncombe crossing killed Misa Florence Miracle Leon Webster and injured Butler who died six days later at St. Josephs Mercy hospital in Webster City. The accident occurred in January when the auto struck a train as the youths were leaving a dance. Claims include speed of the train and absence of a flagman. Filed in Fort Dodge. other potential claims expected if Butler wins.
Secretary Bryan issued a formal statement Monday asserting no change in his plan for the lecture tour. He said he will lecture as he would and will take vacation when necessary for lecturing, noting recent postponements were due to work at hand and will not continue.

There was another runaway when Ofe Knuth and a second horse bolted near Main Street Monday. Tat Grimt and a wagon driver dodged obstacles then forced the pair into M L Hauge's mil wagon, smashing it and throwing Mr Hauge, who injured his back. The horses fled then stopped of their own accord, suggesting the pair have learned the habit of running at the slightest provocation.
The Graettinger Chautauqua Woman's Hour, staged Thursday afternoon by the Parent Teachers Association, featured Miss Agnes Spica in a piano solo, a humorous monologue by Mrs. Eugene Darling, a vocal duet by Mesdames Tipp and Mueller with Phoebe Mueller, and an address on Child Welfare by Mrs. J. G. Bennett of the Iowa congress of mothers. The program concluded with an engaged question box.
Dr William Warren of St Joseph Missouri sent a letter recounting his family history in response to a pension department request for a record to support an adjustment. He notes twenty five children by three sisters wives, all but he are dead, thirteen sons serving as soldiers, and himself aged seventy seven.
May Construct Packing Plant men of Sheldon are working on a proposition to build a packing house in the town. About a thousand dollars worth of stock has been subscribed and it is believed the project can be funded locally without trouble. The plant is to be large enough to pack all meat produced in the vicinity.
