FFA Boys Win Ribbons At Fair Emmetsburg
Jim Park and Don Reeves participated in the Palo Alto County Fair in Emmetsburg. Jim won white in market lamb and red in a market pen of three. Don earned blue on a pen of three Berkshires, a purebred boar and gilt. Don tied for reserve market with a Hampshire Berkshire cross hog, which placed third in open carcass. Carcasses go to Estherville for processing Wednesday. A public tour to the packing house is set for Friday at 8:00 p.m. in front of the County Extension office.
