Four automobile bandits cracked the Armstrong Standard Oil Station safe early this morning. They used a glass cutter on the main window and blew the safe door with a charge after removing the combination. Night watchman Jack Frost fired on them as they fled west toward Okoboji, escaping with about two hundred dollars in wheels and currency. This marks the eighth Standard Oil station burglary in southern Minnesota and northern Town in two months.
