Graettinger Band Plays First Concert and Dance
The Graettinger Concert Band gave its first concert at Hawke Hall with 1? members and modest help. Despite crowd doubts the ensemble performed a varied program including piano solos by Miss Nettie McCullough, clarinet solos by Prof. Granzow, and a post intermission dance. Mrs. H. A. Clemitson Dead at Home West of Town
Mrs. H A Clemitson died at her home west of Lawn last Thursday at 9 15 pm after two months of worsening illness. Doctors offered varying opinions on tuberculosis. Funeral services were held at the home and Lost Island church, with Rev Sande preaching. interment in the church cemetery. Maiden name Minnie Knudtson born January 20 1884 in Columbia County Wisconsin. She moved with her father to Polk County Minnesota in 1901 and married TH A Clemitson October 20 1903 in Grand Forks North Dakota, later settling on a farm west of Lawn. Four children Arthur Irwin Isabella Hilma. oldest son seven years old. She joined the Tatheran church young, known for quiet kindness and care for others. Survived by husband, four children, father, stepmother, seven half siblings. funeral sympathy from The Times.
