Town laws require notices of legal proceedings be published for interested individuals and groups. The public record urges residents to review notices appearing in the paper to stay informed about actions and deadlines.
A special stockholders meeting held March 16 1961 at the Legion Hall adopted an amendment to Article II Section 1 of the Graettinger State Bank Articles of Incorporation. The capital stock is set at fifty thousand dollars in shares of one hundred dollars each, fully paid, with signatures by the bank president and cashier.
Notice is given that HH. A. Elsenbart has been appointed and qualified as Executor of the Estate of Clarence H. Clemmenson, late of Palo Alto County, deceased. All debts should be paid to the Executor, and all claims filed with the Clerk of the District Court for allowance. Dated March 27, 1961. Charles H. Barlow is Attorney for Estate.

Ball Park Ass'n asks for a surveyed property conveyance. gas system hookup moves forward without meter charges. Several routine fund disbursements and refunds are approved for the General Fund and local services.
The village funds list snow removal payments for Jim Prather Jack Jenkins Richard Garethen Clayton Duhn George Neilson and other street accounts. Equipment and repairs are noted for All-Wheel Drive Co Fay Welding Shop Buds etc with a total around 220.50 in expenses. Public Safety Fund notes Graettinger Telephone Co rent and misc equipment. Utilities Fund lists Graettinger Light Plant electricity and other maintenance costs. A council adjournment motion is recorded with Earl F. Lehigh mayor and D. L. Lammers clerk.
