Benjamin Johnson aged 23 son of Mr and Mrs Lewis Johnson of France Minnesota died at University hospital Iowa City Saturday March 30 from acute Brights Disease. Funeral held Wednesday at home of his uncle Oscar Hauge and at Norwegian Lutheran church. Interment in Lost Island Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery. Born Booth township April 24 1894 he grew up in the county and was well liked. Survived by parents one sister five brothers Arthur Leonard Seward Hermon Victor. brothers and sisters attended. Also mourned by uncles Oscar and Thomas Hauge and aunt Mrs Thomas Simpson. The Times extends sympathy.

Globe National will be the first American reinsurance company and Iowa's first with 1 000 000 paid up capital. Prof Geo W E Hill Dies After Illness in Minnesota
Prof Geo W E Hill of Stillwater Minnesota died March 28 remembered by locals. He hosted entertaining lectures and travels, notably leading tourist parties to the Passion play in Germany in 1900 and 1918. Members of the Graettinger trips included Mrs Wiltley and her brother in 1900 and Mr and Mrs Fahnestock in 1910.
