Edward Joseph Turner and Rose Yaberg united in marriage at the Presbyterian manse in Estherville yesterday afternoon with Joe Amdahl as attendant. The couple planned a honeymoon and will reside in Graettinger temporarily. Rose Yaberg, daughter of D. and Mrs Yaberg, formerly of Graettinger, has long worked in Graettinger stores and is praised as a capable clerk. Turner, a Graettinger resident post WWI, recently left the First National Bank to pursue business prospects in South America. The Times offers congratulations and best wishes.

Roy Lowman was acquitted at Spencer on Friday on the charge of selling intoxicating liquor at the Ford day celebration last June. John Evans had pled guilty and was fined $100 and costs. Evans testified that he sold liquor to the state prohibition agents, not Lowman, with Elmer Sullivan also testifying for the defense.

The city council will award the gravelling contract for the quarter mile connecting with West Robbins Avenue at a Friday meeting. A gravel coat of 1400 yards to the mile will cover the strip.
