FHA Girls Attend Des Moines Convention and 4-H Club Meeting
Three FHA chapter officers and advisor Mrs. Fredrickson attended the FHA convention at Fort Des Moines hotel in Des Moines March 15 and 16. Governor Hughes spoke and the Action for Citizenship goal was introduced. A panel of women from Ethiopia, Panama, India and Israel discussed citizenship. New state officers were elected and installed, with a style show and fashion display. The Lucky Stars 4-H club met March 23 with 10 members, led by President Martha Beck, featuring a pattern layout demonstration and emblems distribution.
