Charles Smead three years old, son of Louie Smead, was seriously hurt at home near Gra bill when he climbed into a buggy wheel as his father hitched the horse. The horse stepped forward and dragged him beneath the wheels. He suffered a scalp wound requiring twelve stitches. Dr. N J Shook treated him. he is doing as well as could be expected.
Allen county reports 904 eighth graders passed exams and ready to receive diplomas at the Palace Theatre in Fort Wayne on June 16. The Cedar Creek township complete graduate list includes Velma Akey Fredah Deven ter Frances Harsh Clara Klopfenstein and others.
