Mrs Susannah Golder Rood aged over 90 died at 3:80 this morning at the home of her daughter Mrs Eli McQuate north of Goshen in Jefferson township from old age and complications. Born April 22 1819 in Columbia County Pa she moved to Ohio in 1834 and to Goshen in 1867. Surviving are daughter Mrs McQuate two sons Wilson Rood and Nelson Rood two sisters Mrs Pearson and Mrs Burke one brother Jackson Golder six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral at the McQuate home Saturday at 2:30 pm with interment at Oak Ridge cemetery.
