Premier Millerand to read the resignation to the senate and deputies. National Assembly to convene at Versailles on September 25 to elect a successor to President Paul Deschanel. The president’s letter was delivered from his residence in Paris.

Morice 80 Dies at Home in Goshen
Jonathan V. Morrice aged about 80 died at his Goshen home 6118 Third Street after months of illness from flu and pneumonia. He leaves a wide family, survived by wife Cornelia and several children, with funeral at St James Episcopal Church Saturday at 2 30 o clock and burial in Oak Ridge cemetery. He had a long career as a singer and civic leader in Goshen.

Semi official dispatches note a global Bolshevizing plan perfected in Moscow and agents to be sent soon to America, Japan, China and Asia for the campaign. 44th Regiment Holds Reunion in Goshen
The 44th Indiana Volunteers Civil War veterans held their annual reunion in Goshen, first since 1890. WS serves as president and Herbert C. Willis of Waterloo Press as secretary treasurer. The program in the G A R hall featured speeches, prayers, readings, and reminiscences, with a dinner by the Ladies of the WAC and a 15 cent weekly carrier demonstration.

14 Year Old Boy Dies From Fair Ride Injury
Paul Strantz of South Bend died from injuries received at the Springbrook fair grounds when struck by a boat keel. He was taken to St Josephs Hospital after the accident near the fly ing boats. Police and Red Cross nurses aided him at the scene.
