Robert Cripe thirteen suffered a serious hand and thumb injury when he fell from a wagon carrying gravel west of Goshen. The wagon passed over his hand, pinching the palm and breaking the thumb. Fifty stitches were needed to dress the wound. Dr. A. Hollingsworth attended him.

Two Young Auto Thieves Arrested At Millersburg
Leslie Misner aged 18 from White Pigeon Michigan and Harold Myers 19 from Sturgis Michigan were arrested at Millersburg after a theft of a Willys Knight sedan belonging to John O Conner of Fort Wayne. They were brought to the Elkhart county jail and later taken to Fort Wayne by Sheriff Gille of Allen county. The car was taken from in front of the O Conner residence Saturday night and found abandoned at Millersburg Sunday morning after a thunderstorm. A purse containing 207 dollars for Misner and 151 dollars for Myers along with a gun and ammunition were found on them. They claimed they were bound for Missouri.
