John Alvin Hazel of Goshen, a barber, pleaded guilty in Fort Wayne police court to illegal possession of intoxicating liquor and was fined 136 dollars and sentenced to up to 800 days in Allen county jail, the fine paid and Hazel in jail. A 19 year old Goshen girl accompanying him sobbed in court and claimed no improper relationship. The couple had registered as father and daughter at a downtown hotel. police found two quarts of wine in Hazel's valise.
