Charles F. Cishman of North Hampton county Pa was found by South Bend police helpless from severe beating. A companion was arrested and held for investigation. Bowman's account says two brakemen assaulted Cishman on Lake Shore train No 732 with the butt of a revolver. They were riding for a ride when attacked.
