In Niles a sensational claim ties George A. Kimmell, ex cashier of Arkansas City Farmers Bank and former Niles resident missing for two years, to a Philadelphia sighting by Richard Dougan of Pinkerton’s information bureau. Kimmell had dealings with Johnson, the cashier who wrecked the Niles bank.
Indications point to many visitors from Goshen Mishawaka South Bend and other nearby cities attending Prof Hering of Notre Dame at Island Park Saturday evening. The speech will be delivered in the pavilion and promises a great treat for those who have heard him.
