Infant Beck Dies of Cholera Infantum in City
The eight month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Beck of the Main street and Oak Ridge avenue corner died last night from cholera infantum. The funeral is planned for tomorrow afternoon from the family residence with interment at Oak Ridge.

Hawks Electric to Add Large Plant Expansion in Goshen
The Hawks Electric Light Company, granted a city franchise to supply electric light heat and power, will build a brick addition on Second Street. A 200 kilowatt polyphaze dynamo will be installed for light and power with a cost of 10 000 to 12 000 dollars. Existing dynamos will be retained and the city will exchange current with the plant as before.

Duties of the Marshal Trigger a City Reorganization
Edgar Vesey has taken the duties of city marshal and a plan to appoint City Engineer Cooper as street commissioner and superintendent of sidewalks is proposed. Cooper earns 60 dollars per month and has little to do, and is willing to take on added duties so Vesey can devote full time to police work. The arrangement is expected to win public approval, while the marshal cannot be expected to perform double duty.

Belgian immigrant dies in Mishawaka car crash
Andrew Zuck was killed in Mishawaka last night when he fell from a swiftly moving car. He had recently arrived in this country from Belgium about two months ago. A relative cared for Mrs Ford Overleage who fell ill and was confined to the home, her husband remaining with her.

Stabbed in South Bend man dies amid police chase
