Injunction Suit Filed Against Monger Lumber Co
In circuit court this morning the injunction action against Monger Lumber & Coal Co of Elkhart and associated parties by Leroy H Calvert et al was dismissed after a settlement. Tragedy On Ohio Rail Route Claims Two Lives
Charles Crawford aged 24 and Belva Leonard aged 26 died when their buggy was struck by an east bound New York Central passenger train near Bryan Ohio. The collision occurred as they traveled back from Montpelier and went unseen until a broken air hose halted the train east of Bryan. Crawford’s body lay on the engine forepart and Leonard’s was found beside the track.
