Soules Arrested After Forged Check Attempt at Clothing Store

A five inning baseball game at the Ariel grounds yesterday afternoon saw the Chicago Fair clerks lose to the Economy department stores 17 to 5. Umpire Sam Lewis called the game at 2 o clock with Cyrus Lichtenwalter at bat. Cyrus hit the sole home run of the game as Economy built a 6 run third inning and similar scoring in the fourth while Fair clerks managed only three hits and no runs.
