Blanche Motth widow of Amel Mottl a Gun Lake farmer died April 28 after a six day illness blamed on ptomaine poisoning by Two C. L. Grant of Free Soil. She is arrested at her home in Rochester charged with murdering her husband. Motth was twice married in Rochester Indiana to Calvin Spurlock and Lim, divorced in January 19 TOM, and married Amel Mottln on May 1 of that year. neighbors say life with the farmer was happy. They had no children, Mott carried $1000 life insurance and owned an estate valued at $4000.
