Peculiar Accident At Goshen Factory Leaves Worker Severely Injured
James A. Fisher of Goshen Manufacturing was seriously injured when a wrench caught in a machine wheel and struck his left leg and chest. He suffered a severe thigh cut, internal bleeding, and was taken home in pain. doctors say he cannot work for weeks.

Grand jury reports six indictments en route to court
The grand jury filed its report late yesterday and adjourned until further court call. Four days in session yielded six indictments including Elk City wire and hose thieves. The county farm and jail were found in good condition and the sitting room at the jail may be papered. Several cases were assigned to special judges and guardians, including divorce and conservator actions. A marriage license was granted to Laird and Gilbert. Court adjourned at noon for the next session.

Bicycle fall injures two as he speeds on corner
Disrence Ross of West Jefferson street and Shirt Factory worker fell from his bicycle at Sixth street and Lincoln avenue striking brick pavement. He bruised hands and knees after his front wheel hit a pipe. Injuries described as not serious.

Bridge Collapse Endangers Bristol Lumber Team
Calv in Hower, driver for Krouse Lumber, narrowly escaped death when the Mottvilles road bridge over the Little Elkhart River collapsed. His wagon and two horses plunged about fifteen feet. the horses were hurt, logs crushed them, and Hower suffered non life threatening scratches.
