The will of Martin Stuckman, Union township resident and eldest in Elkhart county, was probated. Dated March 12 1550 the will leaves equal shares to heirs George Martin Henry Jesse Marvin John Peter Stuckman and Hannah Hun gecker Maury Brumbaugh with daughter Catherine to receive one third of her husband’s share. John gets ten acres in the northeast corner valued at st. John Mellinger named executor. A codicil of March 11 1551 deducts debts from heirs and notes with no interest. Estate valued at 10000 including a Union township farm and personal property.
