Sullivan Enjoined From Quotation Theft by Telegraph Firms
Judges Grosscup Baker and Anderson of the U S Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that George T Sullivan must be perpetually barred from taking quotations from telegraph companies linked to the Chicago Board of Trade. They said the issues mirrored National Telegraph News and Illinois Commission cases. Sullivan had offered to pay for service but did not sign a non compete agreement for the Luckett shop business. Appraisers are sought to value the shop house site in Washington Township as suit over damages proceeds.

Farm House Burned Near Syracuse and Other Local News
A two story farm residence belonging to Edward Kinnison, Goshen, four and a half miles east of Syracuse on the Syracuse Fort Wayne road, burned this afternoon. A defective fuse caused the blaze in a summer house. William Wright occupied the house and all belongings were destroyed. The cost was about 1600 dollars with insurance. Firefighters prevented spread to adjacent buildings in the dry weather. James Hall, former Silver Lake resident, died in Kansas City after years running a Silver Lake hotel. Burial plans in Silver Lake. The local high school baseball team prepared for a game at Touawands Diamond, facing Fort Wayne and Goshen in upcoming play. A bankruptcy matter involving Soup Lewie was discussed in South Bend with several attorneys and a referee to be appointed tomorrow. Mrs. J V Richardson of Texarkana Ark is visiting Warsaw with plans to move back to Goshen. Walter Fetters of Blaiston attended a rural mail carriers meeting to organize affiliation with the state association.

Lon D. Williams press agent for the Gentry dog and pony show arrived in Chicago with a developed smallpox case after leaving Elkhart on Tuesday. Health officials warned Plymouth and South Bend to quarantine the outfit if any other employees were ill, risking exposure to many local residents.
