Elkhart Wins Intercity Meet At Goshen Farm Track
Elkhart High School won the third annual intercity track meet at Goshen Farm track with 61 points. Michigan City finished second, LaPorte third, Hammond fourth, Goshen fifth, and South Bend sixth. Hammond won the relay banner, Blair of Hammond took it for his school, and Lawrence of Michigan City was top individual scorer with 15. Shatter of Elkhart earned 15, while Starbuck of Goshen and Knapp of Elkhart tied for bronze with 13 points. Numerous Northern Indiana records were broken, including Hammer throw and 880 yard run. Bicyclists Collide Injury After Street Collision
Ammon Kerlin of south of the city rode on South Fifth street when another cyclist coming from Madison street at the First English Lutheran church corner collided. Millersburg postoffice robbers arraigned in federal court
