The resolutions committee endorsed the principle of orderly adjudication of national controversies through judicial tribunals, but left no formal resolution Reported that party politics would be avoided.
A telegram from St Goar Rhenish Prussia reports a train plunging into the Rhine and 29 bodies recovered so far. Passengers arriving at Saint Goar heard that the French crossed to the scene, with Saint Goar near Bacharach.

A Peking dispatch says Roland Pinger Jr and Robert Allen Jr sons of Majors Pinger and Allen US Army were released while their fathers remain held by Chinese bandits in Shantung. Earlier reports claimed both officers would be freed. later updates confirm only the sons were released.
Golden Brothers Circus arrives from Sturgis Michigan by New York Central at 10 last night. After tonight’s exhibition the show moves to Wabash via the Big Four. Tents set on Harper Burris addition Eighth Ninth and Jackson streets with the first Gary performance this afternoon. Weather delayed stops in Laporte and Sturgis. Delays and broken equipment kept the street parade away. Reports praise the performance. the season started two weeks ago with strong crowds in Kensington Illinois and Gary. The show winters in Fort Dodge Ta.
Culver May 10 The annual reunion of the 157th Indiana Volunteer Infantry was held today with Andrew J. Hickey of Laporte congressman from the Thirteenth district Rev Charles Medbury of Angola former regiment chaplain and David I McCormick of Indianapolis on the program Goshen’s Company C was not represented at the reunion.
