Dr. L. D. Wells a Michigan physician with aliases was located on South Main Street in Goshen and arrested by Under Sheriff Rust and Sheriff Elliott after a tip from Auburn. He allegedly conspired with Rosa Taylor to extort $3,000 from Flint’s George Rowland and is believed to have fled to Ohio. The man, about 40, claimed wife in Toledo and faced extradition without resistance.

51st Anniversary of Jacob Cline's Goshen Move
