New Cars on Tomorrow for Interurban Service
The Chicago South Bend and Northern Indiana Railway will begin running borrowed second hand through cars between Goshen and South Bend starting Sunday to meet demand until new 62 foot cars arrive in mid summer. The old Goshen coaches will be reassigned to Mishawaka lines and used as trip cars to Elkhart and back, ending uncomfortable interurban travel.

Death of W. Butts Stricken Resident of Elkhart County
William W. Butts died at home on Wilson avenue after a long illness. Born 1842 in Delaware County New York he moved to Elkhart County in 1864 and farmed on the Yeoman farm for 26 years. He married Elizabeth Sparklin in 1865 and leaves seven children two grandchildren and a brother in New York. He was an Odd Fellow KOTM member and member of the First Christian church.
