Boy Hurt Falling From Freight Near Elkhart River Bridge
Walter Schrock thirteen year old son of Mr and Mrs F F Schrock of West Queen street was severely injured yesterday morning while attempting to board a west bound freight near the Elkhart river bridge. He suffered a gash over the right eye a deep scalp wound and a mangled hand. He fell but was struck by a car corner saving him from fatal injury. He was cared for by Dr Ash then at home with his parents. He regained consciousness this morning but cannot recall the accident.
