Charien A. Reed, son of a former Elkhart wagon maker, lost his suit against Frank E. Bryson in the circuit court. The jury deliberated an hour and a half after late evidence and brief arguments, returning a verdict for Bryson. The case outcome was expected.

Mrs Ernest Juday 26 daughter of Mr and Mrs Fred Ettelin of Solomon's Creek Benton township died at home after a night entertaining friends. Husband found her dead this morning after waking to light a fire. Survived by an 18 month old child. Coroner Eisenbeiss to hold inquest.
