Farmers' Dance Draws Fifty Couples at McNaughton Hall
About 50 couples attended the Modern Samaritans dance in McNaughton hall last night. Dancers wore rural clothes with calico frocks and sun bonnets for women and overalls with loud plaid shirts for men. Salisbury's orchestra provided music. Four couples did a cake walk with prizes won by Miss Nettie Dowell and Vern Boyd. The event was a social and financial success.
